Search Callaway County Recent Arrests

Callaway County recent arrests all flow through one place: the county jail. Someone may be arrested by Fulton police, a deputy, or a state trooper. The booking still lands in the same system. That makes the jail roster the natural first stop, and its recent-release view helps you catch people already let go. Want to know who got arrested in Callaway County? The roster shows names, booking photos, and charges. For deeper digging, each arrest record points back to the agency that made it and the court where the case now sits.

Callaway County Recent Arrests

The Callaway County Sheriff current roster is the official first stop. Newest bookings sort to the top. A name search works too. The sheriff does not label any feed "24-hour arrests." An arrest may not hit the web the moment it happens, so treat the roster as a practical view of new Callaway County arrests rather than a certified rolling-day count. A timestamp reflects intake, not when the entry went online.

Each window answers a different question. Live custody lives on the roster. Someone released may show up in the 48 Hour Release view. Older activity can linger in roster pages or selected reports. The 24 Hour Arrests page zeroes in on today's newest entries. The Arrest Log covers the wider trail.

Where Callaway Arrests Are Booked

According to the sheriff's Divisions and Services page, Callaway County Jail handles intake for every person arrested in the county. No municipality runs its own city jail. The arresting officer might come from Fulton, Holts Summit, Auxvasse, the sheriff's office, MSHP, or another agency. Once someone enters county custody, the jail roster becomes the shared official booking surface.

The numbers give a sense of scale. About 2,200 arrested subjects pass through each year. Daily population averages 80 to 100. Those are operational figures, not a running arrest total. Keep in mind that a city report, a county booking, a trooper report, and a court case stay distinct records even when one event ties them together.

Search the Callaway Arrest Roster

The roster gives you current and released views, alphabet links, a name box, sort controls, Show All, and profiles. Start with a surname. Add a first name if the results flood in. A name alone proves nothing about identity. Compare booking number, time, charge text, bond, and photo whenever they appear. Because the page changes constantly, note when you checked it.

Use this order:

  1. Enter the official roster and select newest-to-oldest.
  2. Search the name and open a profile only after comparing details.
  3. Record the booking number and time; check releases if current custody ended.
  4. Call 573-642-7291 for an urgent custody question or the records line for a document.

The official arrest roster appears in this captured interface:

Callaway County recent arrest roster and booking search interface

What displays here are controls and field layout. It is not a permanent people list or proof of a charge. The jail runs around the clock. The sheriff posts no schedule. A missing listing can mean intake lag or release. It can also mean transfer, another jurisdiction, a protected record, a name variation, or plain technical trouble. Many entries carry booking photos, but no policy promises one for every arrest or says how long it stays online.

Callaway Arrest Alerts Without an App

The Callaway sheriff lists no booking app of its own. The mobile route is simply the responsive roster. Email alerts from the sheriff announce new site items, though they are not billed as notices for every booking, release, or transfer. Facebook may carry news without a complete booking cadence.

MOVANS, delivered through VINELink, plays a different role. It can send custody or court-event alerts when a matching record exists. Use VINELink Check for one person, and lean on the roster or the sheriff's phone for local verification. The official alerts signup appears here:

This general update channel is not a person-specific custody alert.

Where Callaway Arrests Are Published

Go to official sources first. The roster covers county custody. The arresting agency holds its own report. Case.net carries the later public court data, and MSHP offers a five-day preliminary view of trooper arrests. News outlets and private booking pages might surface an older lead, but their timing, choices, and corrections all differ.

BustedNewspaper, RecentlyBooked, and Arrests.org all maintain Callaway pages. Mugshots.com lists a state directory item, but its inferred county page does not load. Mugshots.zone offers no real local section. Private data can lag, duplicate, omit, or outlive the official record, so confirm anything with the sheriff, the agency, and the court.

Callaway County Arrests by City

City police may write the arrest report, but none of these cities operates a jail. Each route keeps police records separate from county booking records.

Never assume the arrest happened where the home address sits. Keep the arresting agency handy. Match records by booking number and date.

Callaway Arrest Record Fields

A booking record covers jail intake and custody, not a full case. The released view adds the end of the visible jail stay. Incident narratives and locations belong to the agency report, while court dates and outcomes belong to the court.

FieldMeaning
NameIdentity text transcribed by the jail
Booking numberIdentifier for that intake
Booking timeIntake timestamp, not posting time
Release timeEnd point shown in the release view
Charge/holdCharge, code, warrant, or hold at booking
BondAmount or status then displayed

The sheriff publishes no bond schedule or set release interval. Quote a displayed amount, even $0.00, exactly as shown. It may signal a hold or status needing jail or court confirmation.

Booking
Jail intake after an arrest or custody event.
Bond
A release condition or amount, not a guilt finding.
Arraignment
An early appearance addressing charges and plea procedure.
Disposition
The court result, such as dismissal, plea, acquittal, or judgment.
Expungement
A court process affecting eligible records as law directs.

Callaway Mugshots and Booking Photos

Booking photos show up on many Callaway County jail entries. They cover people in custody and those released. The sheriff's office posts no written promise about which photos appear, when, or how long they stay online. Missing photo? Ask the records custodian directly. A private copy pulled from an unverified site is a poor substitute.

Missouri §43.503 does its own job. It makes agencies send fingerprints, photos, charges, and physical descriptions for qualifying arrests to the central repository. Even so, it creates no public name-search gallery for the county. For state custody or supervision, the MODOC Offender Search works. Fresh Callaway bookings are another matter entirely. That tool also skips people already discharged. Turn to the official MODOC search only for state-level holds.

This state tool answers a later custody question, not the county roster question.

Request a Callaway Arrest Record

Sergeant Bobbie Rice, the Administrative Sergeant, serves as records custodian, and the sheriff's records page lists the options. Requests go in online. They also go by phone at 573-592-2455, or in person at 1201 State Road O in Fulton. Office hours run weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Simple requests move fast. Broad ones take longer, and no fixed photo turnaround is promised.

Be specific. Give the full displayed name, the booking number, a short date range, and the agency involved. Then name exactly what you want: booking sheet, report, release data, photo, or incident report. If part of an arrest record is closed, ask for the separable public portions. Confirm the price and format before it ships.

Note: These figures are research and media rates, not a flat price for one booking photo, and a result may arrive digital, on paper, redacted, or lawfully denied; city police reports stay separate requests.

Missouri Arrest Records and Removal

Missouri §610.100 governs arrest reports. Incident and arrest reports are generally open, but the law allows withholding or redaction for active investigations, safety facts, protected victims, juvenile data, and closed records. The clock matters here. When an arrested person is not charged within 30 days, the report gets closing treatment, apart from disposition information. Closure still is not deletion of every copy.

No universal mugshot guarantee exists. The roster’s photo practice remains subject to confidentiality and closure law.

Missouri §407.1150 makes it illegal for a criminal-record publisher to solicit or accept payment from a subject to remove or correct information. Never pay for promised cleanup. Correction, closure, expungement, and refreshing a stale search result are four different acts.

Expungement has its own timeline. Under §610.140, the general waiting period is one year after disposition for misdemeanors, municipal violations, and infractions, or three years for felonies, with added conditions and many exclusions. An uncharged arrest follows a separate route. The court petition form lists the custodians who may receive an order. Current law controls.

BustedNewspaper and RecentlyBooked each publish free, site-specific correction routes with stated proof requirements, though those requests never touch sheriff or court files. Arrests.org lists no clear free form. No removal outcome should be promised. The full text of the official arrest-record statute sits on the legislature's site.

The statute, never a private page, decides whether an agency record stays open, closed, or redacted.

Correcting a Callaway Arrest Entry

Fix a wrong fact at the source that controls the field. Save the official URL, the date checked, the booking number, and a short note describing the error. The sheriff's records custodian can review a jail name, booking time, charge label, bond value, release time, or photo tied to a Callaway arrest record. Did the disputed fact come from Fulton, Holts Summit, Auxvasse, or MSHP paperwork? Route that request to the arresting agency. A court filing or disposition belongs with the Circuit Clerk. One office cannot rewrite another office's record.

Correction is narrower than removal. It fixes a wrong fact. Closure restricts public access under law. Expungement is a court process for an eligible record. A search-index refresh only updates an old result after its source changes, so keep any official response or order and forward it to each private publisher that copied stale material through that publisher's free correction route. A private deletion never alters the county record.

A request can also ask why a portion was withheld, when an explanation can lawfully be given. Custodians may release public parts while redacting protected details. That beats treating a partial response as denial of the whole booking. No result is guaranteed, and Missouri's anti-pay-to-remove rule bars paying any publisher to correct criminal-record information.

Protected Callaway Arrest Information

Missouri §211.321 protects juvenile court records and peace-officer records involving children. Limited exceptions apply. Fulton Police likewise treats juvenile data and sex-crime victim information as nonpublic. It notes extra limits for ongoing or felony investigations. A blank field can have a legal cause. Never fill it from a private source just because that site shows more. "Not found online" does not mean "never existed" or "destroyed." The record may be closed, withheld, unposted, held elsewhere, or simply outside the date range a tool covers.

Older Callaway Arrest Records

Missouri's Sheriff Records Retention Schedule, SHF 006, sets a five-year minimum for arrest logs, files, registers, fingerprints, and booking sheets. After that, secure destruction may follow. An active investigation or prosecution can extend a file's life. Photos and fingerprints normally head to the Highway Patrol repository. Local copies may survive only as reference material.

None of that promises five years online. Search roster views first. Request the booking, check Case.net, and then try the State Archives county database. It browses digitized records by county, office, type, and date. Person-name searches are not supported, and not all microfilm has been digitized.

Callaway Arrest Warrants and Most Wanted

The sheriff FAQ advises a name search on Case.net, then confirmation with court or sheriff. Case.net is not instant warrant certification. A person resolving a possible warrant should contact the court, sheriff, or an attorney. Do not use warrant data to avoid lawful contact.

The Most Wanted endpoint showed Name, Date, and Arrested controls but “Content unavailable at this time” during research. Its disclaimer says data may be wrong. An empty list does not prove no warrant exists.

The official Most Wanted endpoint is shown here:

Callaway County arrest warrant and Most Wanted interface

A wanted person's absence from the county list still warrants a direct call to the court or sheriff. Report tips to Crime Stoppers at 573-592-2474, or dial 911 for immediate danger. Never approach a wanted person yourself.

After a Callaway County Arrest

The jail record shows what happened at booking. The court file answers what came next. Callaway County sits in the 13th Judicial Circuit alongside Boone County. On Case.net, search by name or case number, narrow the court and party, then read the filings, bond, arraignment, pleas, motions, and sentence. Case.net warns its web data is unofficial. The Circuit Clerk at 5 East 2nd Street, Fulton, 573-642-0780, keeps the actual court files. The sheriff handles the bookings. No Case.net match? Filing may lag, spellings differ, or the matter may be confidential or from another jurisdiction. Ask the proper custodian instead of assuming.

Custody After a Callaway Arrest

Pick the next locator by custody type. MODOC covers state prison, probation, and parole. The BOP locator tracks federal inmates back to 1982 but has no local booking-photo function. The ICE locator covers current and certain recent immigration custody with exact identifiers. Missing from one system proves little. Transfers can create gaps, so identify the agency and court first, and note that MOVANS and VINELink handle Missouri notifications only, never BOP or ICE.
